Taking techno in subtly fresh directions.
Sita Shah is a DJ and Creative who’s been making waves in the London scene. She’s a member of the Daytimers and Sisu collectives and resident DJ at Makaan records. Sita demonstrates a different way of navigating the familiar techno zone, going fast and furious with a crate of self-styled “desi techno”. Think four-to-the-floor mixed with M.I.A edits, tricked-out Bollywood songs and bhangra basslines going 100 miles an hour.
She’s part of a new generation of nails-hard practitioners who are taking techno in subtly fresh directions.
If you’ve seen Sita live you’ll know she brings the energy behind the decks. And if you’re new to discovering her sound, check out FOLD Detect sets that bring to life her signature style.

This Tehran-born and Stockholm-based artist has been reshaping – and removing – seemingly fixed concepts of what and how you can play multiple genres and not committing to one. With her core group of musical collaborators also driving the Stockholm underground scene
But more than just experimentation, jahanam is a do-it-all kind of girl. Whether it’s her hydra-headed sets where techno meets ballroom and we fall right back into latin club, or her whip-smart and piercing lyrics she manages to bring a well-needed unpretentious and playful element to a generation of a bit absent of it.

She crafts chaos with love —always digging for the next moment that makes you a little
crazy (or a lot). All of these four things come together, weaving in and out to scintillate,
seduce and fuck it all up...respectfully!
The fantasy goes slowly but surely pan-European. New cities, new crowds, same raw, fun,non-pretentious energy.
