Fuelled by the dystopian landscape that has plagued his hometown of Lebanon since 2019, Rise 1969 has been using his intricate knowledge of sound design to express the collective feelings of a jaded youth. For this record, Rise takes us on a ride with Techno as his medium, giving us a glimpse into hopeless nostalgia, severe ADHD, and coping with a socio-political environment that is as unstable as his emotional well-being.

Zamaan - زمان EP
By Taha One
Abut Zamaan : Enter the dimension of "Zamaan," Taha One's latest EP that delves deep into the essence of Algeria's desert terrain. Kicking off the journey is "Sahara Raha," a track that beckons with vocals captured from a Touareg amidst the vastness of the Sahara. Through its entrancing beats and rhythmic pulses, this piece channels the warmth and spiritual resonance of the Algerian desert, transporting listeners to its soulful heart.
Following suit is "El Derdeba," a track pulsating with unconventional rhythms that stir the soul and set the hips swaying. Evoking the spirited ambiance of Algerian wedding ceremonies, this tune invites you to partake in the jubilant festivities, capturing the essence of tradition and modernity in a vibrant fusion.
With "Zamaan," Taha One invites you to embark on an immersive sonic voyage, where the evocative sounds of the Algerian landscape converge with the pulsating beats of contemporary techno. Prepare to be transported to the heart of the desert, where the warmth of the sun meets the infectious rhythms of the dance floor.
